Mission Statement
The goal of SAAV is to protect animals from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. We hope to minimize animal violence in many ways. This goal can be accomplished by educating the public, fundraising to support animal causes, holding meetings to discuss animal issues, political lobbying to obtain SAAV support, and any other necessary means to diminish animal abuse, neglect, and exploitation. SAAV is a non-profit organization.
Message from the President
The SAAV club was created on the basis that all animals deserve respect and consideration. I feel strong about animals and their rights. The SAAV club was created over five years ago and has many success stories about animals lives being improved. Out of those five years, I have been elected and reelected as an officer for the club. I finally became the president of the SAAV club for the 2003-2004 school year. I believe this club has and will continue to have a positive impact on society.
Every road has bumps and bends, but we are surely making good progress for every animal that walks the earth. As the President of SAAV, I made many changes and corrections that I have not regretted yet, and so I hope our SAAV club will help make decisions that no one or no animal will regret either. Thanks and I look forward to a fun, memorable, and enjoyable year.
Message from the Secretary
The SAAV Club is now in a new phase of its brief existence. We now have a responsible group of students working together in this club, who can get the job done for the 2003-2004 school year. Even though this is still the beginning of the school year, I forsee great accomplishments over the next eight months. Although this club is involved in a very serious subject, we're going to try to make it an enjoyable year for our entire club.
As co-webmaster, the task of reconstructing our website has been a complicated, but interesting as well. Our main goal will be to keep people informed on a daily basis. It will be a difficult endeavor, but I feel that it will certainly be a memorable experience.
