Since the SAAV club is an Animal welfare group, we naturally feel strongly about this "Guardian" bill. We feel that the term "Guardian" denotes a higher level of responsibility. We think that language is powerful. We feel that a simple wording change can make a difference in the lives of all animals. The term "Guardian" in our opinion means more respect and care toward the pets. Most of us love our pets dearly, so we want them to be happy and healthy. |
